About Us
Pending3d didn’t start as a business. It started a long time ago with anatomy sketches of organs drawn by hand and casually mixed with everyday objects from whatever happened to be nearby. That curiosity came from being closely connected to the medical field, where anatomy is precise, serious, and usually not combined with random objects… until I decided to do exactly that.
Those drawings slowly turned into 3D designs, and eventually into physical objects. What stayed the same was the idea of taking something clinical and turning it into something more appealing (and occasionally a little weird).
Somewhere along the way, Aortyx was created. Aortyx is our logo, mascot, and and slightly chaotic companion. A character inspired by anatomy and dragons. I love dragons. I love anatomy (obviously). The aorta happens to connect two of my favorite worlds, so of course this made sense (at least to me).
You’ll probably notice a lot of green around here. That’s not an accident... I just really love green. A lot. If something ends up green, it’s because it felt right, not because of branding meetings or color theory charts.
Everything here is designed and 3D printed in small batches. Some pieces are sculptural, some are tactile, some are meant to be used, and some exist purely because I thought, “okay… why not.” There are many versions that never made it past the “almost, but not quite” stage.
This isn’t about perfection or mass production. It’s about curiosity, experimenting, and making objects that feel personal and enjoyable to have around.
I genuinely hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoy making them🫀🐉
